Possibly the craziest sushi we had was a shrimp. now i know what your thinking - shrimp isn't that exciting, but it was straight outta the tank and cut up, some wasabi slapped under and bam, on our plates. crazy thing was, thing was still moving on our plate. the chef was laughing his ass off when we pointed at the shrimp in the tank.

Tsukiji was like 5 times bigger than the vic market, and completeley chaotic, so muc going on, and then there was the fish. at first me and connor weren't sure we were in the right place, then the smell hit us, and hit us hard. you get used to it after a while, but there are dudes on little motorbikes riding fresh fish to trucks, people walking around everywhere, yelling and selling fish and anything from the ocean, and people chopping up fish live for you.
here are some of my pics:

Moof - i promise to try and get some doraimon gear while i'm here, but i didn't even try getting one out of this skill tester, man imagine how funny that would be for japanese people, a giant white dude trying to fish out a doraimon doll from a kids game in shinjuku, infact, i think i'll do it for a laugh now.

Police in the city are fully decked out, even with lightsabres, don't F with them.

And lastly - For all the bird fans out there - this is a poster at a KFC that is advertising Xmas meal deals. that's right, in Japan on xmas day, you wake up, unwrap presents, and enjoy a bucket of the colonels finest with you family. makes the cricketers box look weak ay.

we had dinner then some of us went to a club called Womb to hit the Ice Cream party that Pharrell was playing at.
Needless to say, shit was awesome - crazy to see a club full of J dudes in head to toe in Bathing ape, Ice cream and Billionaire Boys Club gear. Uffie played first at around 1. she was good, but i don't really know many of her tracks, but after she was done, Pharrell walked on stage.
Man - never seen the Japanese go so crazy in a club, there was a stampede of people trying to get to the front. beats started playing, Pharrell is rapping, and people are getting totally crushed at the front. Pharrell had to stop so they could move people back, bouncers were lifting crushed little J huns off the front of the stage, it was awesome.
I tried to take photos but the bouncer wouldn't let me use my camera.
after we left the club, i ran into Afra (from Afra and his Incredible Beat Box Band)
You guys can see him play at big day out this year (i am going fo sure now)
So i ran into Afra and we talked about his upcoming tour for the BDO and how i met him at the espy. he remembered me cos i must have been the only person in Oz that knew Hifana.
but - long story short, he is playing this sat night coming, so i'll catch up with him again then. so chillin with Japanese hip hop celebs, and my old crew, all in one day. A great start to the return to Japan.
