After Tsukiji

So being right next to the largest fish market in the world - you can basically get the freshest sushi (told you you'd be jealous melon)
we found this rad place near the market, and the chef there loved us. he thought my japanese was good (which it wasn't) but he thought we were crazy for trying all the weird sushi out.
some quality pics of a quality breakfast.

Possibly the craziest sushi we had was a shrimp. now i know what your thinking - shrimp isn't that exciting, but it was straight outta the tank and cut up, some wasabi slapped under and bam, on our plates. crazy thing was, thing was still moving on our plate. the chef was laughing his ass off when we pointed at the shrimp in the tank.
